ABOUT ME
My name is Emily H. Phillips.
I am an Architectural Graduate of Auburn University's School of Architecture, Design and Construction. After graduating in 2007, I was offered the highest paying job in my class. I worked for well over a year with EGH Architects in Biloxi, MS. During my time there I led a small group of design professionals throughout the Construction Document phase of NASA Stennis Space Center's Infinity Science Center. I had previously been employed by NASA with Marshall Space Flight Center's Facilities Engineering Department. Because of my working with NASA, they thought I would be a great asset to their company. I left my job at EGH when I became pregnant with my daughter. I have grown with her for the past several years while doing contract work through EGH and continuing my education at Calhoun Community College. In late 2020, I joined Summershade Design and Consulting - while I worked part time producing Designs for Outdoor Living Spaces, as well as Professional Drawings and Construction Documentation for the Installation of Custom Fiberglass Pools. However, I am ready to further my career, my education and hopefully get my license and LEED certification.
